Pacific Symphony presents our Family Musical Mornings production of Hansel & Gretel - Opera for Kids, adapted from Engelbert Humperdinck's opera. We're thrilled introduce you to our talented cast and creative team.

Originally written by the Brothers Grimm in the early 1800s, Hansel & Gretel follows the story of a young brother and sister pair who are forced to survive on their own after being pushed out of their home and into a nearby forest, where they encounter a gingerbread house and a witch.

Composed by Engelbert Humperdinck, the opera version of the classic fairytale would receive its world premiere in Weimar, Germany in Dec. 1893.
