We are a 501 c 3 tax-exempt Non-Profit Modern dance company.  Embark Dance Theatre is the brain child of graduates of Cal State Fullerton’s Bachelor of Arts Dance Program.

Kelsey Jenson and Amy Tabback came together to give dancers a place to voice a common passion for artistry in the language of dance. We are based in Orange County, California, at Momentum Dance Studios, which has been so kind to house EDT. As we grow together, as one company, we hope to hold onto this incredibly palpable energy and sensitivity to life we feel on this journey.

We want risk. We want authentic story-telling. We want athleticism with fluidity, power in subtlety and we want emotion from movement. Our goal is to relate to our audience through movement by reaching out to common human experiences and reactions.
