The Grain Project Public Art Department: Joey Linnert and KidWorks, 2012

This mural was painted by The Grain Project Public Art Department, Joey Linnert, KidWorks, and the neighborhood youth in Santa Ana. About 200 volunteers painted a mural on a wall in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. The volunteers worked together throughout the day to create the “I Have A Dream” mural. The 45-foot-long wall is near Raitt Street at Richland Avenue in Santa Ana.

“Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, ‘Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?’” said OneOC President and CEO Daniel J. McQuaid. “This is a time for people from all walks of life to work together to provide solutions to many of our pressing local and national problems.” Condition: good
