Architectural Landscape - Functional Artwork
375 South Cliff Drive, Laguna Beach, CA, 92651
Tidal Pull
Scott and Naomi Schoenherr, 2012
Based on a poem by Shelly Cooper, “Giggle Crack,” the artwork features mosaics and bronze sculptures with ceramic inlay, complimented by large natural stone slab benches. “Our goal of this sculpture garden was to create an environment where the visitors can encounter and explore through the artwork with elements of discovery. Many cohesive elements were used to create a flow through the sculpture garden, connecting each artwork and also the city to the ocean,” the artists explained. One of three pieces.
