2006 marked Cypress’ 50th Anniversary. An Oral History project began the year with interviews of many long-time residents conducted by City staff and televised on City Channel 36. Flight sculpture by Kirsten Kokkin was placed in front of the Council Chamber and dedicated on April 15.
