Stroscher Grove Tile Panels

Melissa Thomson and Patricia Waterman created three tile panels at the corner of Del Obispo Street and Ortega Highway called the Stroscher Grove Tile Panels. They represent the Acjachemen Tribe, Friars and Vaqueros and orange growers, Fredrica & Wilhelm Stroschein, who settled the land in 1887 and to whom the triptych is dedicated.

Melissa and Patricia opened the Ceramics Studio in 2011. The Ceramics Studio has served the public in creating unique works of ceramic art since 2011. Melissa recieved her Masters of Fine Arts at Cal State Northridge and Patricia has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
