Marine 1/1 Memorial Sculpture

Marine 1/1 Memorial Sculpture is located in Castaways Park. In 2003 the citizens of Newport Beach adopted the First Battallion First Marines, First Marine Division. In 2008 the memorial sculpture was “created in honor of the men and women of the 1/1 who paid the ultimate price in defending our nation and our freedom.”
