Skydivers Court

Aristides Demetrios, 1985

Skydivers Court by Aristides were installed in 1967. The figures are 12-feet-long each on top of 27-foot-high columns, making balance the utmost importance in positioning the sculpture. Unfortunately the moving and repair of the statues cost more than Newport Beach was willing to spend. Now the statues can be found in the artist’s studio in the bay area and are no longer on display.
