The Poet’s Table
Terry Schoonhoven, 1998
Terry Schoonhoven worked to create a memory of place. His themes and metaphors for the city of Huntington Beach are communities explored through time and space. The 40’ mural which buts the amphitheater and can easily be viewed from the pier, provides a counterpoint to the functional design of the seating space.
The Architecture Foundation of Orange County recognized Artist Terry Schoonhoven with the 1998 Art in Public Places Award.
