Mission Viejo is located in Southern Orange County and was developed upon the 52K acre Rancho Mission Viejo in 1965. The City of Mission Viejo is mostly residential and is the largest planned city in the United States. The Mission Hospital is also the largest hospital in Southern Orange County and serves as the region’s trauma center.
