Unity in Diversity Mural Michael Parks, Diana Anderson, and Westminster High School Students, 2018 The Unity in Diversity Mural was created in 2018 at Westminster High School campus. The creation "Unity in Diversity," was inspired by an appearance by Sylvia Mendez made to the campus in March of 2018. Sylvia Mendez's parents successfully challenged school segregation in the 1940s. "The story of Sylvia Mendez makes them(the students) feel like there was someone here fighting for them in the beginning, and a lot of their rights were secured by her and her family." Students were learning about realistic painter Michael Parkes, who lives now in Spain. He couldn't physically be there, but he offered guidance via Skype on composition. This mural was made thanks to a grant from Vans and Americans for the Arts.

Unknown Mural Free Humanity, 2018 This mural is composed of a bright multicolored pattern of quick "v" shaped stokes layered on top of each other. The piece painted by is placed on the side of a green dumpster in the alley between the Artist's Village Apartments and the Empire building. Condition: good.

Untitled Joshua Madrid, 2018 Artist Joshua Madrid says, "I have been working with this concentric design for about over 10 years now. Some people call them mandalas. They start in the center and work their way outwards. There are circles, straight lines, triangles, growing into each other and growing outwards. With the colors, it has a calming uplifting vibe and centers you and gives a peaceful message." This building was a city owned building with a past mural on it, this mural replaced the one before that had fallen into decay.

Untitled Wyland and Malcom Elementary School Students, 2015 Wyland, known for his ocean-themed paintings, stood on a ladder painting yellow barnacles on a 40-foot-long gray whale on the side of a portable classroom. Eighty students were selected to paint alongside Wyland on that morning, and the rest of the school's 709 kids were invited to add finifhing touches during the day.

Untitled at the Inn at the Mission Randy Morgan Untitled at the Inn at the Mission was created by Randy Morgan. This sculptural relief mural of birds was created by Randy Morgan and is located at the Inn at the Mission. Randy Morgan is a renowned master sculptor, who for over 40 years has worked as an architectural artist. He is the creator of the Waterman's Wall and the Laguna Panorama which are the two largest art pieces in Laguna Beach, California. These beautiful art murals are a part of a series which make up Randy's "Roadmap of Art Walls" which stretch from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Chico, California. Randy has a studio in Laguna Beach.

Untitled at the Inn at the Mission Paul Butler Untitled at the Inn at the Mission was created by Paul Butler. This glazed tile mural depicts a man on a horse in an orange grove. It was made by Paul Butler and is located at the Inn at the Mission. Paul Butler is an internationally acclaimed artist and designer who has created both architectural art installations and high-end consumer products. This artist, who was self-taught at sixteen, found himself at twenty one leaving his home in Laguna Beach and traveling the world under commissions by Nelson Rockefeller, Jr. to install his original works. His life has been guided and driven by his passion to create.

Untitled B-24 Mural Nancy Hadley, 2021 This mural was painted on the exterior side of one of the Quonset huts off Costa Mesa's 17th Street, Nancy Hadley painted a B-24 Liberator bomber. The bomber depiction is a nod to the orgin of the Quonset hut which was used for housing and training on the Santa Ana Army Air Base. The base was deactivated in 1946 and the land was annexed by Costa Mesa. Nancy Hadley, who operates a studio out of one the Quonset huts, researched the history of the B-24. The plane on the side of the hut only is about half the size of the actual bomber. Nancy added her own personal touch to the work. The tiny pin-up girl on the side of the nose of the plane was inspired by her mother, Shirley Walker who grew up during the 1940s.
