Planets of Ladera Ranch Debbie Avoux, 11/2020 Ladera Ranch commissioned Debbie Avoux to paint a solar system of models along a nature trail off of Sea Grape Road and Calliandra Court in Ladera. "Every planet has two hidden lady bugs that represent my two kids. And each planet has an extra something special," Debbie Avoux.

Plant Maze and Fossils Stone artwork created by children of the community, 2000 The Plant Maze is an 80 foot circle of hedges that are designed to intrigue the young at heart into trying to find the center of the maze. The maze, created in 2000, was done to celebrate the fossils of the local South Orange County area. The plant maze has stepping stones that were created by the children of the community with their imprints. Bear Paws and Dinosaur markings were added into the sidewalk to add fun and excitement to the space.

Planter Box Dave Maestrejuan, 2004 This planter box, located in a pedestrian alley near Harbor & Commonwealth was a CUFFS project supervised by Fullerton Museum Center. Maestrejuan was assisted by high school students from Fullerton, Anaheim, and Buena Park.

Working at the confluence of public art and landscape architecture, James draws on the stories unique to each site to generate multi-layered narratives that explore notions of memory, place, and ecology. Planter Box Art Series Mer Young: In The Light of the Moon Mer Young, 2022 This planter was created by Mer Young. Tongva (Long Beach), Descendent of Chichimeca & Mescalero-Chiricahua Ndé Apache Tribe. Mer Young is an Indigenous published artist who has created a body of artwork manifested in collages, drawings, paintings, and founder of Mausi Murals public artworks. Young's artworks aim to inspire, celebrate and elevate repressed indigenous, first nations, and native cultures and women of color. Her works also focus on matters of immigration and the uprising to justice, equality and complete freedom of Black Lives. Young's works have been included in numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally. Her public art works can be found in the East Village Arts District of Long Beach, in The Sixth and Ninth District of Long Beach, CA, in The City of Glendale, CA, The City of Tustin and in the Art District of Los Angeles. She is a current member of The National Foundation of Independent Artists (NFIA), she holds Associate Degrees in Fine Arts and Liberal Arts from Long Beach City College and recieved her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from The University of Southern California.
