The Twin-Winton Mural was created by Arthur Ames and Jean Ames in 1951. This mural depicting the story of ceramics, personifying the elements of fire, earth and water, was designed and fabricated by Arthur and Jean Ames in 1952 for Brad Keeler Artware in San Juan Capistrano, California. In 1981, the 8' by 21' mural of 6" x 8" tiles was expertly moved to its present location in Mercado Village.
