The concept “books give us wings” is expressed through the imagery of the reader’s hair taking flight in the sculpture Books Give Us Wings created and sculpted by internationally renowned artist, Carlos Terres, of Jalisco Mexico. The sculpture was donated by Friends of the Yorba Linda Public Library.
