The Strut Bar and Club’s 50 by 20 foot mural of Dolly Parton by painted by artist David Gillmore. It was inspired by Dolly Parton donating $1 million to help fund the development of the COVID-19 vaccine, Modera. Club Founder and CEO Luke Nero dedicated the mural to all frontline healthcare workers of America. Nero hired Gilmore to celeberate Parton’s humanitarian side and give her a “goddess-like” feel.
