Fire & Rain was designed by LC Studio Tutto in 2019.

Like many of Southern California’s native plants the Tecate Cypress tree requires a combination of fire and rain to unlock its seeds for germination. Hand-drawn illustrations depict this interconnected relationship between the Tecate Cypress tree and the elements of fire and rain.

The Tecate Cypress is a rare tree species found in Orange County. Look closely to find the native Painted Lady Butterfly within its branches.
