Mormon Battalion Trek Through San Juan Capistrano
The new Mormon Meeting House comissioned a mural for their property depicting the Mormon Battalion march into San Juan Capistrano. On March 20, 2004, a group of battalion reenactors paraded into San Juan Capistrano as part of the Swallows Day Parade and like the original battalion, they were warmly welcomed.
This mural is about 4 ft by 10 ft and is located at the entrence to the Meeting House at 29273 Stallion Ridge Road near San Juan Hills High School. It was commissioned by the Meeting House to meet the Depiction Policy of the City.
