Nursery Planters
Buster Simpson, around 1993 or 1995 according to artist
Celebrate Anaheim’s agricultural heritage. Anaheim was founded as an agricultural community. Grapes were the first major crop though a blight in the 1890s forced farmers to plant walnuts, chili peppers, apricots, sugar beets, lemons, and eventually oranges. Their familiar form, often seen in nurseries, and landscaping projects are given a more finished look. They are a reminder of a constantly changing landscape.
