OCEAA’s (Orange County Educational Arts Academy) new playground is 10k plus square feet and features this immersive playground mural. This mural is installed at OCEAA Charter school in Santa Ana. The murals were part of the initiative to renovate the playground for the upcoming school year. It reflects the ideas and concepts that the parents and children of OCEAA wanted to see – nature, gardening, sports, and games. The new artwork features activities that increase learning as children play games.

PPG Paints sponsored the project. UCI brought in content innovators from the School of Education to help with the mural. PPG Paints brought the Colorful Communities program to the school as well.
