The Kobe and Gianna Bryant Dream Court

The Kobe and Gianna Bryant Dream Court by Brian Peterson is located in Anaheim’s oldest park, Pearson Park which was created in 1927.

The basketball court mural is shaped like a large butterfly and depicts the faces of kobe and Gianna Bryant. The court and mural honors Kobe and Gianna Bryant, who tragically died in a 2020 helicoptor crash. The sculpture is by artist Brian Peterson, the image is of Gigi and Kobe sitting courtside at a game. The court and sculpture were funded by former WNBA player Nancy Lieberman’s charity and Vanessa Bryan’s Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation.

On the other side of the sculptural butterfly mural says: “Vanessa chose to dedicate this Dream Court with Nancy Lieberman Charities so the Anaheim community may share in continuing the legacy of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, who would be happy to know that boys and girls will now have the opportunity to compete, learn, and play through the game they loved so much. Play Gigi’s Way.”
