Mission San Juan Capistrano

Founded in 1776, this restored mission offers a glimpse into Spanish colonial history and its influence on the area's culture. The Murdy Community Center is located in the north portion of the City of Huntington Beach. Rooms are available for all occasions including social gatherings, meetings, and receptions. The Community Center offers a wide range of recreation programs and classes serving tots through seniors, and organizes several special events throughout the year! Two of our most popular events are the Summer Kickoff and Breakfast with Santa, providing participants with fun crafts, games, and much more! Programs and classes include everything from sports and fitness to art and preschool – just a few of the reason why Parks Make Life Better. Please call the center for program and reservation information. No alcohol is allowed. No reservations will be accepted for legal holidays observed by the City of Huntington Beach.

Murdy Park

Murdy Community Center provides the surrounding community with various recreation opportunities. The Park includes four lighted tennis courts, two lighted softball fields, four lighted basketball courts, a skate park, and jungle gym. The center consists of four meeting rooms, kitchen, and a studio. All rooms are available to rent, however no alcohol is allowed. Fun Facts The skate park located in Murdy is the first skating facility ever built in Orange County. Murdy Park is also home to the very first community center built in Huntington Beach. Newport Beach Civic Center

Newport Beach Civic Center (formerly City Hall) includes a 14-acre Civic Center Park with its 1.23 mile walking trail that makes its way along a natural wetlands area and an exhibit of numerous sculptures. The park area includes two parcels of land joined together by a bridge, which offers a stunning view of the city and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

Newport Beach Public Library- Corona del Mar Branch

The Newport Beach Public Librar in Corona del Mar (or CDM) dates back to the mid-1940's. By 1947 the population of Corona del Mar was such that residents needed a library closer than Balboa, where the main City library was located. Working with the Corona del Mar Business Association, library officials organized and opened "a tiny library station" of the City library in a CDM storefront. The station was on the corner of Goldenrod and Pacific Coast Highway and monthly rent was $45

The Newport Coast Community Center offers the following; Newport Ridge and Pelican Room: 24 banquet, 12 classroom, 20 theater, 15 conference. These rooms can be combined to double max capacity Newport Coast and Willinger Room: 50 banquet, 24 classroom, 50 theater, 30 conference. These rooms can be combined to double max capacity Gymnasium: For sporting events only. Gym floor is lined for Basketball, Volleyball, and Pickleball. Equipment Available: Warming kitchen, LCD projector and screen, DVD player, iPod connection, microphones (handheld and headset), podium, chairs, 72" round tables, 6ft rectangle tables. Use of side and back patio. Facility Reservation Information: Reservations may be made up to 6 months in advance. To process your reservation, please submit a completed Reservation Request form and a signed Facility Use Agreement. We require a minimum of 10 working days to be processed. Submission of Reservation Request does not constitute approval. Approval or denial will be provided within 3 working days of a completed application. At the time of approval, you will be notified of the cost of your rental. Full payment is due at that time. It features a large meeting room complete with a stage and integrated AV system that is suitable for wedding receptions, family events, seminars, large meetings, and classes. It also has a smaller meeting room and a lovely outdoor patio area to enjoy. This facility is perfect for any occasion. Doubling the size of its former space, OCMA’s new building features 25,000 square feet dedicated to its exhibition program. The open design of the Permanent Collection and Special Exhibition Pavilions offers OCMA unique opportunities to share in-depth surveys, thematic exhibitions, and the newest developments in contemporary art. The curved architecture of the Mezzanine Gallery allows for unique opportunities to program in an intimate space scaled to the human body, offering a direct connection between the art, architecture, and the audience, while the Avenue of the Arts light filled window gallery allows for direct connections between the art and the landscape.

Celebrating 57 year in Orange County, Orange County Fine Arts (OCFA) is a local non-profit 501 c3 organization dedicated to cultivating public interest in the arts through art education, exhibitions and scholarships for aspiring artists. The organization provides opportunities for emerging and accomplished artists to showcase their work while enriching the community with a variety of artistic modalities. Artists looking to connect with other artist and art enthusiasts find many opportunities within OCFA. Members have access to workshops and teaching space, demonstrations, rentable studio space when available, exhibitions, competitions and other special events that stimulating public interest in all art mediums. OCFA has two gallery locations which feature a broad range of innovative and imaginative artworks created by local and regional artists. OCFA was founded as the Costa Mesa Art League in 1964 and currently encompasses over 200 well-respected members, representing a diverse array of artists, art enthusiasts, collectors, students, philanthropists and more.
