Farquhar Park

Farquhar Park

Farquhar Park is named after one of Huntington Beach’s well-remembered citizens James S. Farquhar. Farquhar was the publisher for Huntington Beach news for 43 years as well as an outstanding citizen who had taken part in business, political, social, church and public interests of the city. Farquhar Park is directly across the street from Lake Park, and is often confused for being the same park. Local residents use this piece of land for its open play area and picnic facilities. >

Fun Facts

This park was dedicated on  May 22, 1970
Circle Park and Farquhar Plaza were joined together on November 20, 1967
