Opening its doors to the students, faculty, and staff for the first time in August 2006, the dream first realized by Dean Bob Bassett of a new film school modeled on a working studio has now become a place for students to come, learn, and grow as storytellers.
The impressive 76,000-square-foot-building is a one-stop shop for Dodge College students providing them with state-of-the-art classrooms, sound stages, insert stages for cinematography and television/broadcast journalism, a Foley stage, Dolby surround mixing, and a motion capture stage. Dedicated spaces for production management and viewing facilitate both pre- and post-production activities.
