Rick Gomez Park

The Rick Gomez Park was dedicated on January 22, 2022 in honor of long time resident, Park and Recreation Commissioner, coach, and active member of the community, Rick Gomez.  This is the first new park in the city in over 25 years.
The park is .46 acres
It is a baseball themed park with baseball themed play elements and a stadium type feel.
It has shade structures over play areas.
Prescast spheres – baseballs will serve as bollards near the parking circle.
It has exercise/fitness equipment at two locations.
There are shaded picnic tables and BBQ’s and drinking fountains.
There are Rick Gomez Tribute Panels.
