S/A. Exhibitions Gallery

S/A. Exhibitions (SAE), an independent gallery led by curator Maurizzio Hector Pineda, opened November 1st, 2020 in a 1,000-square foot space in the new Santa Ana Arts Collective (SAAC). SAAC, operated by Santa Ana Arts Collective, L.P., and developed by Meta Housing Corporation, is a 58-unit, 55-year tax credit-supported, affordable housing residence for low-income working artist households that opened its doors to tenants in July 2020.

SAAC licensed its gallery space to SAE to establish a year-round program of exhibitions, artist talks, and other activities open to SAAC residents and the general public free of charge.

Exhibitions will be augmented by artist talks, community programs, and developing opportunities for artists residing at SAAC to meet members of and share their work with other artists from Santa Ana and beyond.
