Now in its 25th year, the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts celebrates dance in the upcoming main stage production, “SYN*ER*GY.” Featuring APA’s talented Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Commercial and Repertory dance ensembles. About SYN*ER*GY
(sin-er-jee) / noun. 1) Combined action or operation 2) A mutually advantageous conjunction or compatibility of distinct participants 3) A main stage dance show of spectacular movement and dedicated dancers. Centered around APA’s Dance Ensembles, this show will make for an unforgettable evening of groundbreaking dance showcases. The evening includes works by APA faculty, special guest choreographers and collaborative works.

The Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts (HB APA) is “igniting the creative artists of the future.” HB APA is known for its award-winning theatre and musical theatre shows, accomplished dance program, strong orchestra, innovative Music Media and Entertainment Technology (MMET) program, and professional-grade, career-oriented Technical Theatre and Costume Design departments. HB APA provides master-level instruction in classical and popular music, dance, acting, playwriting, costume design and stagecraft to over 700 students per year.
