With an unwavering passion for Korean music and arts, Yunwoon has graced the stage with her mesmerizing performances in over 1000 Korean music concerts and captivating cultural showcases. Yunwoon’s remarkable talent and dedication have earned her the prestigious title of Designated Singer for Master Ilju Lee’s Dongcho Pansori Shimcheong-ga, an esteemed Intangible Cultural Asset #2 of Korea. Her rendition of the Korean opera performance of Shimcheong-ga, which lasted an impressive 6 hours on October 22, 2022, left the audience in awe of her exceptional artistry. As the visionary Founder of the acclaimed Korean Performing Group “Haemil,” Yunwoon has nurtured and elevated the talents of numerous artists, fostering a vibrant community of cultural performers. Additionally, she serves as the esteemed President of the renowned Korean Opera Company, contributing significantly to the preservation and promotion of traditional Korean arts. Notably, Yunwoon’s enduring commitment to cultural enrichment led to the establishment of The Annual Korean Traditional Arts and Culture Festival, a grand celebration that continues to touch the hearts of audiences far and wide.
