Back Bay Plein Air Festival

OC Parks, Newport Bay Conservancy and SOCALPAPA are pleased to present the Annual Back Bay Festival, a week-long art festival with several events for artists and art lovers alike, including a Juried Show, a Quick Draw Competition and a Weekend Art Show & Sale.

Saturday, July 8th – The Festival kicks off with a Quick Draw competition, which is open to the public.  Artists compete for prizes and awards — or just come to spectate as our artists create plein air works in real time all around the trails of the Upper Back Bay.

July 11-14th there will be Children\’s & Adult Art Classes, taught by SOCALPAPA artists.   Register on EventBrite:   www.socalpapa.com
