Orange Library: Forests of the Sea

Dive into the Forests of the Sea at the Orange Public Library & History Center with an exhibit from  the Ocean Institute.  Explore California’s native kelp forests and the inhabitants of this vital ecosystem. You can view artifacts from a kelp forests habitat; sea urchin tests; kelp holdfast; and kelp pressings, among other things. The exhibit will also have infographics on ecosystems dynamics, threats to kelp forests, and why they’re important to our oceans.
