Tattoo Flash

Are you willing to take a little pain for your art? Has there even been an image so powerful that you’d be willing to commit it to your skin forever? A tattoo represents a permanent pledge to a specific idea, design, or image; and tattoos aren’t just for sailors anymore.

As time has gone on, the tattoos’ popularity has grown and grown. Las Laguna Gallery in Laguna Beach, California asked ink-slingers, photographers, and artists, to submit their works for their Tattoo Flash art exhibition. The result is an incredible compilation of art.  The show features a variety of mediums including photography, pen and ink, graphite, printmaking, oil and acrylic paint, and wood. Artists include: Alexandra Dockter-Pullman, Lisa Foote, Brandy Gonzalez, Minh Hang, Judy Horowitz, Olivia Kates, Patricia Leeds, Jerry Poole, Gail Postal, Ayanna Proctor, Tristan Stamm, Carl Shubs, John Stephenson, Kathy Tiger, Chris Volion, Cecily Willis, and Evie Yapelli.
