Nixon Library invites the community to a new lecture series, Beyond the Exhibit to meet the veterans featured in President Bush’s, Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief's Tribute to America's Warriors.
April 24: Meet Specialist Alexander Glenn-Camden
While serving in Afghanistan, Alexander Glenn-Camden was shot in the neck when his platoon was ambushed during a dismounted patrol in 2011. The bullet will remain in his neck for the rest of his life but he made a miraculous recovery and uses his experience to inspire others.
Lecture tickets include a tour of the special exhibition of 66 full-color portraits and a four-panel mural painted by President George W. Bush of 98 service members and veterans who have served our nation with honor since 9/11.
