The figures, which were installed in 1967, are 12-feet-longeach on top of 27-foot-high columns, making balance the utmost importance in positioning the sculpture. Unfortunately the moving and repair of the statues cost more than Newport Beach was willing to spend. Now the statues can be found in the artist’s studio in the bay area.
