The Long Beach Museum of Art (LBMA) was founded in 1950 as a municipal art center for the city of Long Beach. Since its inception, the Museum has been housed in the historic 1911 Elizabeth Milbank Anderson House. In 1957, the Anderson House was designated as the Long Beach Museum of Art, at which time the Museum began acquiring a permanent collection.

FREE – LBMA Members and Children under 12

$10 Adults

$8 Students (with I.D.) and Seniors 62+

Free admission after 3 pm on Thursdays and half price admission all day Friday.

Claire’s diners receive ½ price admission with Claire’s receipt. Valid on day of dining only.

05/14/2021  We are delighted to safely reopen the Long Beach Museum of Art and LBMA Downtown indoor galleries at 50% capacity. Visitors are required to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth at all times, and maintain a distance of at least six feet from others. Please review our COVID-19 protocols and procedures prior to your visit.
